ODAC WOMEN CONTINUE TOURNAMENT

Top-seeded Roanoke College will face Emory & Henry in the first semifinal game of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's basketball tournament today at the Salem Civic Center.

The Maroons (21-3) and Wasps play at 1 p.m., followed by the Guilford-Virginia Wesleyan semifinal at 3 p.m.

The winner's meet Sunday for the championship.

Roanoke advanced to the semifinals with a 90-65 win over Eastern Mennonite on Wednesday. Emory & Henry defeated Bridgewater 56-50, Guilford downed Randolph-Macon 62-39 and Virginia Wesleyan bested Lynchburg 74-60 in the other first-round games. - Staff report
