CARR-RAY

Traci Leigh Ray and David Lee Carr were married February 29, 1992 at Beaverdam Baptist Church in Chamblissburg. Rev. Dennis Moore officiated. The matron of honor was Laura Lancaster, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Paige C. O'Leary, cousin of the bride; Melissa K. Dickterenko and Nichole S. Griffin, friends of the bride. The flowergirl was Rhonda Lynn Caldwell, cousin of the bride. The best man was Curtis L. Carr, brother of the groom. Ushers were Clint Chumley, cousin of the bride; Fred Wagner and Glenn Griffin, friends of the groom. The ringbearer was Brandon Nichols, cousin of the bride. The reception was held in the church fellowship hall and catered by Marlene Leech and Mary Chumley. The guestbook attendant was Laura Wolfe. Photographs were taken by Charles Leech Jr. and the wedding was videotaped by Kip Lancaster. Jodie Moore performed solos as well as accompanied on the piano during the ceremony. Floral bouquets were designed by Monnie Spangler. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ray of Roanoke. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School and attended Tidewater Community College. She is employed by First Virginia Bank-Southwest. The groom is the son of Betty C. Thomas of Vinton and the late Nathaniel Carr. He is a graduate of Staunton River High School and attended Ferrum College. He is owner of Rainflow Gutter and Siding, and Virginia Seamless Gutter. After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, the couple and their son, Austin, will make their home in Bedford County.
