Melissa Grace Martin and Darrell Mark Royal were married February 29, 1992
in Bonsack Baptist Church by Dr. Robert G. Moore, III. The reception was held
at the church fellowship hall. The maid of honor was Anne Martin, sister of
the bride. The matron of honor was Martha Lilly, sister of the bride. The
bridesmaid was Vicki Amos, friend. The best man was S. Steven Royal, father of
the groom. The ushers were Jeff Amos, friend, and Dewey Lilly, brother-in-law
of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Darlene Ratliff. The bride is a
daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Martin of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Cave
Spring High School and Radford University. The bride is employed by Elizabeth
Arden. The bridegroom, son of Steven and Susan Royal of Roanoke, is a
graduated of William Fleming High School and attends Virginia Western
Community College. The bridegroom is employed by John W. Hancock, Jr. Inc. The
newlyweds will live in Blue Ridge after the wedding trip to Florida.
