NUNLEY, CHARLEY D. Charley Dennis Nunley of Roanoke, died suddenly Friday
afternoon on his 82nd birthday. He was a charter member of the Central Church
of the Brethren, a veteran of World War II and was retired from Advance Auto
Parts, Inc. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Marie Nunley Gray and
James E. Gray, Jr., Ocala, Fla.; two grandsons, Major Charles D. Gray, U. S.
Army Ret., Marietta, Ga.; Lt. Col. James S. Gray, U. S. Army, Heidelburg,
Germany; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at
Central Church of the Brethren 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 1992, with the Rev.
David Yingling officiating with interment to follow in Fair View Cemetery.
Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 9:00 a.m. Sunday where the
family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on
Sunday.
