OBIT SINK, A.

SINK, A. RUNIA Mrs. A. Runia Sink, age 87 of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 29, 1992. Mrs. Sink was a devoted member of Riverdale Baptist Church, including Scripture Gleaners Sunday School Class and Ola Lee Circle. She was preceded in death by her sons, Melvin Sink and Bobby Sink. She was the widow of C. Howard Sink, and is survived by a devoted granddaughter and husband, Pennie and Gailon Hogan, Hardy; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred S. and James Atkinson, Roanoke; Verlie S. and Bill Ferrell, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two daughters-in-law, Yvonne M. Sink and Doris P. Sink, both of Roanoke; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maude Burnette, Forest; Ora West, Salem; Myrtle Franklin, Roanoke; one brother, Thornton Jett, Lynchburg. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel, 12:00 noon, Tuesday, March 3, 1992, with the Rev. Robert W. Lanier officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel Monday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
