OBIT SECRIST, C.

SECRIST, CURTIS H. BUENA VISTA - Curtis Henson Secrist, age 88, died Sunday in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. She was born April 23, 1903 in Amherst County, a daughter of the late John M. and Lucy Humphries Henson. She is survived by her husband, Daniel D. Secrist, Sr., Buena Vista; one daughter, Dorothy S. Blosser, Lynchburg; two sons, Daniel D. Secrist, Jr., Lynchburg; and John H. Secrist, Buena Vista; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Rowsey and Mrs. Crawford Eggleston, both of Buena Vista; one granddaughter, Virginia S. Avondoglio, Andover, N.J.; one grandson, Daniel D. Secrist, III, Granite Falls, N.C.; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Lomax Funeral Chapel with The Rev. Harold Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Lomax Funeral Home.
