RADFORD UNIVERSITY OPERA WORKSHOP

The Opera Workshop at Radford University will present scenes from Mozart's "Cosi Fan Tutte" - a satirical opera on fidelity and love - Thursday at 8 p.m. in Preston Auditorium. The ensemble of nine students and two pianists is directed by Clarity James.

James said students will perform 12 excerpts from the opera. "I think that people will get a good sense of the story and certainly have some fun," she said.

Singers are Brent Vernon, John Weatherspoon, David Neal, Rodger Cooper, Penny Shumate, Tara Renee Roseberry, Paige Riddle, Laurie Hennion and Jennifer Morris. Pianists are Angela Conner-Gosney and Sonya Lam Ho.

Admission is free for RU students and $3 for the public. Tickets will be available at the door.
