CANADIAN ROCKER BRYAN ADAMS TO PLAY ROANOKE ON APRIL 5

Bryan Adams will play the Roanoke Civic Center on April 5 in an 8 p.m. show. Special guest The Storm will open the show.

Adams' latest LP, the double-platinum "Waking Up the Neighbours," received six Grammy nominations. The lead cut, "Everything I Do (I Do It for You)," from the motion picture "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves," won the award for best song written specifically for a motion picture or for television.

Concert tickets go on sale Saturday and are $19.50, reserved seating. They will be available through the box office at 981-1201 or through any TicketMaster location.
