LAROUCHE MESSAGE ON CABLE TV

An unusual talk show produced by the political organization of jailed extremist Lyndon LaRouche is airing weekly on Northern Virginia cable television stations.

"The LaRouche Connection" began 10 months ago in Fairfax and now also airs on public access channels in Arlington, Leesburg and Washington. Topics have included food irradiation, the space program and the international drug trade.

During a recent show, LaRouche supporters argued President Bush and his family support eugenics, the science of selectively breeding humans to create a master race.

LaRouche is serving a 15-year prison term for a 1988 conspiracy conviction. He has appeared on the show once in a jailhouse interview. - Associated Press
