OBIT FLINT, L.

Mr. Lonie Flint, age 91, of Roanoke died Sunday. He was a produce huckster in Roanoke for 65 years. Mr. Flint was a member and deacon of Belmont Baptist Church, where he was also a member of the Berean Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Brittney C. Johnson. Surviving is his wife, Dovie B. Flint; a daughter and son-in-law, Norma F. and William C. Johnson; grandchildren, Kurt M. Johnson, Susan F. Johnson, Kevin W. Johnson, Cindy C. Johnson, Kara Anne Johnson; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Johnson, Landon Johnson, and Brennon Johnson; a sister-in-law, Virginia Flint. Services will be from Belmont Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. Dr. Thomas S. Cribb and the Rev. John Fox will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Burial Park. Honorary pall barers will be members of the Berean Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to Belmont Baptist Church. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
