OBIT MCALLISTER, S.

Swanson Odell (Cho-Cho) McAllister, age 77, of Roanoke, passed away Monday. He was retired from Norfolk & Western Railroad and predeceased by a son, S.L. "Lee" McAllister. Surviving are his wife, Helen N. McAllister; two daughters, Barbara M. Reed, Vinton; Patricia M. Cooper, Orlando, Fla.; one brother, Lethan McAllister, Salem; one sister, Polly Watkins, Roanoke; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, March 5, 1992 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Turner officiating. Interment Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
