OBIT LEWIS, R.

Richard Herman Lewis, 52, died March 1, 1992 in Largo, Fla. He was born in Rockbridge County December 9, 1940 the son of Eveleen "Dolly" Watts Lewis and the late Richard Lewis. He retired from the Navy after 22 years of services. He is survived by one son, Richard Keith Lewis of Tampa, Fla; two daughters, Debra Mady of Tampa, Fla. and Diane Lewis, Utah; five sisters, Anne Humphries, Accokeek, Md.; Carlene Zollman, Lexington; Mary Ellen "Liz" Wagner, Ruby Carter, and Julia "Judy" Gillin, all of Glassgow; two grandchildren; and a very special friend, Barb Willick. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Glasgow Baptist with the Rev. Bill Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Glasgow Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Lomax Funeral Home.
