Mrs. Virginia Ruth Altizer Dunn, age 66, beloved wife of Jimmy Dunn, of 3909 Halifax Road, Wilmington, N.C., died Monday, March 2, 1992, in New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Dunn was born in Floyd County, Va., on September 16, 1925, and was the daughter of Mrs. Virginia Altizer of Christiansburg, and the late Robert Lee Altizer. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her loving daughter, Mrs. Jeffery Emerson (Lisa) Weyers and her granddaughter, Christina Elizabeth Weyers, all of Wilmington, N.C.; a brother, Robert K. Altizer of Boca Raton, Fla. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 5, at 11:00 a.m. in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, with Mr. Carnice Mannon officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
