RESIDENTS CAN VIEW COURTHOUSE PLANS AT MEETING TUESDAY

Pulaski County residents will have a chance Tuesday to hear the plans for renovating the brick courthouse and get an update on the restoration of the stone courthouse.

The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. in the circuit courtroom on the second floor of the brick courthouse. The Courthouse Planning Committee and the Ad Hoc Citizens Courthouse Committee will discuss the plans and seek public comment on them.

The plans will then be completed and submitted to the county Board of Supervisors at its March 23 meeting.

Floor plans for renovating and expanding the brick courthouse to house all courtrooms, judges' chambers, clerks and records will be shown. Plans for relocating offices during upcoming construction also will be covered.

A plan will be presented for exhibits on the natural and historic heritage of the county. The exhibits will be displayed in the courthouse.
