The bond proposal that passed Monday in the General Assembly included funding for the U.S. 460 bypass between Christiansburg and Blacksburg but not for the "smart road." Because of a copy editor's error, a headline on the story indicated that both were funded.

\ The year 2000 is a leap year. Because of an editor's error, a story in Saturday's paper about couples marrying on leap day was incorrect.

A story on filmmaker George Lucas in Saturday's Spectator incorrectly stated that Bruce Dern starred in the 1971 film "THX-1138." Robert Duvall was the star.
