OBIT RAWSON, M.

Mrs. Mary Winkler Rawson, age 65 of the 800 block of Jo Anne Circle, died on February 4, 1992, at her residence. Mrs. Rawson was a native of Alton, Ill. She is survived by her husband, Jack Rawson of Chesapeake; two daughters, Susan Rose and Mary Jo Rawson, both of Chesapeake; a grandson, and a sister-in-law, Joan Rawson Fulton of Roanoke. Mrs. Rawson was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Chesapeake. She was president of the Kempsville Womens Club and a volunteer with Chesapeake General Hospitals. A funeral mass was held on Thursday, February 6, 1992 in the Prince of Peace Catholic Church by the Rev. Randy Rule. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the building fund of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 621 Cedar Road, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, Va. 23320.
