FLOYD'S CRAWFORD TOP MOUNTAIN EMPIRE PLAYER

Floyd County's Travis Crawford is the Mountain Empire District boys' basketball player of the year after helping lead the Buffaloes to the regular-season title.

Crawford averaged 17.4 points and is joined on the 10-man team by teammate Fred Via. The team was picked by the league coaches.
