GILL SPARKS KEYDETS' WIN IN LACROSSE OPENER

Spencer Gill sparked an 8-1 third-quarter burst and led VMI to a 20-16 victory against Pfeiffer in the men's lacrosse opener for both schools Tuesday.

Gill, a junior attackman, had four goals in the third and finished with seven. Michael Peters added four goals.
