Cora Lee Thacker, age 48, of 1716 Clay Street S.E. died Tuesday at her home. Surviving are her husband, Howard W. Thacker; four children and their spouses, Wanda and Mike Neal, Roanoke; Sargeant James and Michelle Viars, Hawaii; Donna and Cecil Wilson and Brenda and C.J. Bonds, all of Roanoke; 13 grandchildren; four nieces. Funeral services will be held at the home, 12:00 noon Saturday with the Rev. Ricky Hundley. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the home. Arrangements are being handled by Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
