EMPORIA - Eugene Douglas Vess, age 63, formerly of Roanoke, died Tuesday, March 3, 1992. He is survived by one daughter, Sue Jones of Roanoke; one son, Douglas Vess of Greensboro, N. C. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside, Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 2:00 p.m. Friday with the Rev. David B. Huff officiating. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.
