FERRUM REMAINS UNBEATEN

Scott David twirled a two-hit shutout as unbeaten Ferrum routed Urbana (Ohio) College 11-10 in college baseball Wednesday.

Eric Owens' two-run homer in the first inning supplied David (2-0) all the runs he needed. Urbana (2-4) got its only hits in the fourth and fifth.

The game was called after seven innings due to a three-hour time limit. Ferrum improved to 6-0. \
