FIGHTING PROSECUTOR DRAWS REPRIMAND

Commonwealth's Attorney Joseph Morrissey can keep his law license despite his involvement in a courthouse brawl.

A three-judge panel instead reprimanded him for fighting with defense attorney David Baugh.

At Tuesday's hearing, Morrissey conceded he fought with Baugh outside the chambers of Circuit Judge Thomas N. Nance during a break in a drug trial.

Morrissey and Baugh were found in contempt of court by Nance and given brief jail terms for the Dec. 19 fight.
