The Raiders won the honor in Division I while the Chargers were the winner in Division II. The Raiders were coached by Kevin Baker, and the cheerleaders were coached by Katrina Jones. The Chargers were coached by Wayne Myers and the cheerleaders by Sara Kennedy.
The proceeds from the Super Bowl were distributed by committee chairman Jim Carroll to the recreation departments that took part in the event, based on the number of teams each had competing.
Roanoke had 24 teams and received $2,494 for football equipment. Roanoke County had 18 teams and received $1,871; Salem had 12 teams and received $1,247; Botetourt County four and received $436; Bedford had two teams and received $187.
The Super Bowl realized a net profit of $6,237 from the sale of tickets to chamber members, competing teams and from the gate.
