OBIT-SLUSHER, M.

Madison Hamilton Slusher, Jr., age 72, of Salem, died Thursday. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Poff Slusher; sons, Dale H. Slusher, Sr.; Larry R. Slusher, both of Salem; a sister and brother-in-law, Eunice and Horace Medley, Pasadena, Texas; granddaughters and spouses, Valerie and Steve Skripak, Memphis, Tenn.; Sonia and Allen Gerald, Roanoke; Stephanie Slusher, Roanoke; grandson and wife, Dale H. Jr. and Janet Slusher, Blacksburg; great-grandchildren, Carly Skripak, Megan Gerald and Michael Gerald; a special cousin, Edith Cox, Riner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon at Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. R. Stuart Carlton officiating. Funeral arrangements are by John M. Oakey & Son in Salem.
