USA TODAY EDITOR TO LECTURE AT RU

John Simpson, international editor of USA Today, will discuss international news editing and global information on March 19 at 8 p.m. in Radford University's Heth Lounge B.

Simpson, who lives in Reston, has been managing editor of special projects for the newspaper and was the founding manager editor of the international edition which began in 1984. He was previously the director of corporate projects for Gannett International and was executive editor of the Pacific Daily News in Guam.

The lecture is sponsored by the department of communication and the New College of Global Studies. Admission is free with a Radford ID; $2 for the public. For information, call Tom Bruneau, 831-5700.
