BEST PART OF NOT WATCHING TV

ACCORDING to a recent Associated Press item in this newspaper, the average teen-ager watches television 3\ hours a day.

I read sometime ago about a high-school girl who watched no television for a year. This meant she missed about 1,200 hours; but the best point, she didn't see approximately 12,000 commercials. Lucky girl. How I envy her. CLAYTON HAMMOND BUENA VISTA
