BUS-STATION DRUG BUST YIELDS ARRESTS

The drug arrest of a 21-year old Bronx, N.Y., woman passing through Wythe County on a Greyhound bus has led to three more arrests in Charlottesville by undercover police.

Sheriff Wayne Pike said Charmaine Darcel Graves was arrested about 8 a.m. Thursday at the bus terminal in Fort Chiswell. Officers netted about $80,000 worth of pure cocaine paste.

The arrest was made as part of a cooperative effort by the Wythe Sheriff's Department, the State Police, Alchoholic Beverage Control agents and state corrections officers. Graves was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Pike said several officers from the group traveled on to Charlottesville to make the drug delivery. Late Thursday, the cocaine was delivered to an apartment complex in Charlottesville, where three people were then arrested and charged with conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute.

They were Patrick Troy Wynn, 22; Decomas Cherise Harburton, 20, and Damian Duront, 24. - Southwest bureau
