3 HOKIE WRESTLERS IN FINALS

Virginia Tech placed three wrestlers in the finals of the Colonial Athletic Association tournament Friday night at American University.

Making today's 3 p.m. championship round were 118-pound Bill Aschenbach, 190-pound Matt Mogel and heavyweight Josh Feldman.

The 10 individual champions and one wild-card selection will gain automatic berths to the NCAA Tournament March 19-21 in Oklahoma City.

George Mason leads the team competition with 59.5 points. Old Dominion is second at 49.25, followed by Liberty (44.25), Virginia Tech (32.5), William and Mary (13), James Madison (11.75) and American (2.75). - Staff report
