CHRISTIANSBURG MAN DIES OF GUNSHOTS

A Christiansburg man died of gunshot wounds after his pickup truck struck a parked vehicle Friday in Northwest Roanoke.

Terry Wayne Anderson, 20, was pronounced dead at Community Hospital after being shot in the 1200 block of Lafayette Boulevard Northwest.

Police officers responding to the accident about 5:30 p.m. had thought Anderson suffered injuries only from the accident. The gunshot wounds were not discovered until Anderson was examined at the hospital.

Police had no suspects.
