THEATRE VIRGINIA BUS TRIP PLANNED

Reservations are being accepted for a May 18 trip to Richmond's Theatre Virginia, where the world premiere production of "Scaramouche" will be on stage.

The fee of $41 covers the round trip bus fare, lunch in the Virginia Museum and admission to the play.

Reservations must be made by Tuesday. They are being taken by Mona Black at 342-5733 or 362-4589.

"Scaramouche" is an adventure story and romance set against the background of the French Revolution. It is based on Laurence Maslon's stage adaptation of the novel by Rafael Sabatini, as conceived and directed by B.H. Barry.

Barry is a fight choreographer with credits including the films "Glory," "The Pirates of Penzance," Roman Polanski's "Macbeth" and "The Addams Family." He was fight director for England's Royal Shakespeare Company from 1968-75, and has choreographed fight scenes on Broadway, for the Metropolitan Opera and for the Rudolph Nureyev-Sir Frederick Ashton ballet, "Romeo and Juliet."
