ROTARY GIVES COMMUNITY GROUPS $8,000

The Christiansburg-Blacksburg Rotary Club presented $8,000 raised by club members to several service charities in the New River Valley.

Club President Eldridge Collins presented money Monday to representatives of the Montgomery County Christmas Store, Virginia Mountain Housing, Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Program, New River Community Action, Shelter Home, the Women's Resource Center, the Free Clinic of New River Valley, the Reading Council, the Montgomery County Community Shelter and the Interfaith Food Pantry.
