AMOS-YOUNG

Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Amos, Sr., of Roanoke, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Edwina, to Donnovan M. Young. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Young, of Elliston, and is a graduate of Shawsville High School and University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He is employed by Shenandoah Life Insurance.

Miss Amos is a graduate of William Fleming High School and James Madison University, and she will graduate from Washington & Lee University School of Law in May. She will begin work with Gentry, Locke, Rakes & Moore in the fall.

An April 1993 wedding is planned.
