HUDDLE ANNIVERSARY

Orville Cole and Helen G. Huddle celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, March 7, 1992. The reception, hosted by their family, was held at the Roanoke County Women's Club.

Cole and Helen, the former Helen Cline, were married in Forestville, Maryland on March 7, 1942. They are formerly from Alexandria, and have been residents of Salem since July of 1977. Cole is retired from the Washington Gas Light Co.

They have three children, Linda H. Duncan of Salem; Barbara H. Dillon of Richmond; and the late Cole "Buddy" Huddle, Jr. They also have four grandsons and one granddaughter.
