MCLAIN ANNIVERSARY

Leonard (Pete) and Mabel Chewning McLain celebrated their Golden Anniversary December 29, 1991. The celebration was held at Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church in Vinton, and was hosted by Mrs. McLain's brothers and sisters. They were married December 26, 1941 in Bedford. They reside in the Lindenwood section of Vinton. They had one son who is deceased. The couple's daughter-in-law, Blanche McLain, lives in Bedford. Mr. McLain is retired from Vinton Weaving Mill. Mrs. McLain is retired from Leggett.
