UNDERWOOD ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. William R. Underwood celebrated their 50th anniversary on March 7, 1992. The celebration was held at American Legion Building, Callaway. It was hosted by Junior and Charlotte. The couple were married March 7, 1942, and have live at 1218 Tompkins Ave., S.E. for 20 years. She's the former Lucille M. Dudley. Their children are Marvin E. Underwood of Roanoke; Gwen McPearson of Callaway; Douglas Underwood of Callaway; and Charlotte Underwood Topp of Roanoke. They have twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He retired in 1982 from Singer Furniture. She retired in 1983 from Singer Furniture.
