Colonel Ralph A. Newman, United States Air Force Retired, age 71, died Saturday, March 7, 1992 in Huntsville, Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Newman of Huntsville; one stepson, Walter Melton, Huntsville; one stepdaughter, Vickie Elster, Louisville, Ky.; three brothers, Dr. John Newman, Roanoke; Garnett Newman, Chilhowie; Dallas Newman, Marion; two stepgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 1992 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rose Lawn Mausoleum with Rev. J.N. Howard officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Seaver-Brown Funeral service is in charge of the arrangements.
