Agnes Lillian Armstrong Nicely, age 68, died Friday, March 6, 1992, in the Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, Va. Mrs. Nicely was born July 5, 1923, in Lexington, a daughter of the late William Mack Armstrong and Elsie Lillian Reid Armstrong. Surviving are her husband, Claude H. Nicely; one daughter, Carol Nicely Knott, Chantilly, Va.; one son, Claude Timothy Nicely, Herndon; one brother, William (Billy) Armstrong, Buena Vista; one sister, Alice R. Hughes, Huntington, Ind.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 1992, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Burial will follow in the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
