5-GOAL COMEBACK LIFTS UVA IN LACROSSE

Sixth-ranked Virginia scored five goals in the fourth quarter and rallied to defeat 20th-ranked Navy 10-9 in men's lacrosse Saturday.

Navy controlled the game for the first three quarters, leading 7-5, but UVa's Kevin Pehlke and Chris Driggs scored two goals apiece in the fourth and Perry Frazer had the other.

Pehlke, Frazer and Driggs each finished with three goals for the Cavaliers (2-0) against Navy goalie Kevin Farrington, who stopped 18 shots. Matt Pawlikowski led the Midshipmen (0-2) with three goals. - Staff report
