RADFORD'S DAY WINS 3-POINT SHOOTING HONOR

Doug Day, junior guard at Radford, has been honored for his 3-point shooting for February.

Day averaged 4.57 3-pointers for the month, tops in Division I. He also is averaging just more than four 3-pointers per game for the season, second in Division I.

AT&T gives out the award in conjunction with "College Hoops Illustrated," a basketball publication. Six players win the honor each month. - Staff report
