LANCERS' HODGE MAKES ALL-REGION III

Laurel Park's Odell Hodge added another honor to his list of accomplishments as a repeat pick on the All-Region III boys' basketball team as selected by the region's coaches.

Altavista was the only team with two players selected - Mark Johnson and Sherman Pannell. The Blue Ridge District had the most players with Lord Botetourt's Bobby Prince, William Byrd's David Robertson, Salem's Josh Pugh and Northside's Matt Hill.

The rest of the team included Bassett's Dytanyon Norman, Tunstall's Tarrace Carter and Amherst County's Justin Johannes. - Staff report
