An incorrect rate was quoted in a chart of mortgage rates in Sunday's Homes section. The correct rate offered by Crestar Mortgage Corp. for a 30-year, fixed rate mortgage is 8 3/4 percent with 1 3/8 discount points.

Because of a photographer's error, Radford basketball players Stephen Barber and Chris Hawkins were misidentified in a picture caption in Wednesday's paper. Barber was standing at the left and Hawkins sitting at right.
