The first meeting will be in conference room A of the Donaldson Brown Center at Virginia Tech at 5 p.m.
A second meeting will be at 7 p.m. in courtroom B on the third floor of Montgomery County Courthouse in Christiansburg.
Pam Berg Consultants of Roanoke, which is providing marketing and design services for the county's economic development program, will facilitate the meetings.
Participants will be asked to work in groups and respond to such questions as:
What makes this area unique?
What attracted you here?
What keeps you here?
What do you like and dislike about the area?
The consultants will use the information to see how the community views itself, to discern the type of image it wants to project and to make recommendations about how to achieve that image.
The meetings are open to all residents of Montgomery County, Blacksburg and Christiansburg.
