James Grantham Dunlap, age 77, died Tuesday, March 10, 1992 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. He was born May 29, 1914 in Grassy Creek, N.C., a son of the late William Grantham Dunlap and Mary Jane Ballou Dunlap. Mr. Dunlap was retired from the FHA as a state appraiser and supervisor. He was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church, the Real Estate Appraisers Association, a former Rotary Club Member and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are Kathleen Haggerty Dunlap and children, James Grantham Dunlap Jr., Little Rock, Ark.; Kathleen Jane Dunlap, Seattle, Wash.; two grandsons, James Bryant Dunlap and William Grantham Dunlap II; two sisters, Mrs. Jules DuParc, Springfield, Va.; Mrs. Tex G. Kitchen, Independence, Calif. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, 1992 in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery officiated by Dr. L. Randolph Harrison and the Rev. A. Lee Zehmer. Family suggests memorial donations to the Lexington First Aid Crew. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
