BLACKSBURG TOWN COUNCIL

Blacksburg Town Council will hold a series of workshops and meetings on the recommended 1992-93 budget for the operation and funding of town services. Meetings, unless noted, will be in the first-floor conference room of the Municipal Building at 300 S. Main St.:

Tonight at 7:30, council will hear from Finance Director Mary Wright on revenue forecasts and from Public Works Director Adele Schirmer on a proposal to charge for trash collection by weight.

Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.: Presentations from various town department heads.

March 24, following council's regular monthly meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m.

March 31, 7:30 p.m.

Public hearing April 14, 7:30 p.m., in council chambers as part of monthly meeting.

April 20, 7:30 p.m.

Council will consider adopting the budget April 28 as part of the monthly meeting in council chambers.
