BOMB THREAT CLEARS SCHOOL FOR 20 MINUTES

Auburn Middle and High School was evacuated for about 20 minutes Tuesday afternoon after someone called a bomb threat to 911.

The threat was made from a phone at the school, Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and school officials said.

Roy Bolen, Montgomery County chief deputy, said a student at the school was identified as the person who made the call. No bomb was found, and the student has been released to his parents.

Jeff Perry, assistant principal, said the student is 14 years old. Perry praised students and teachers for evacuating quickly and in an orderly way.
