QUEEN LATIFAH IN CONCERT, LECTURE AT VA. TECH

Queen Latifah, crowned by fans and critics as one of rap's brightest female stars, comes to Virginia Tech's Burruss Hall on March 20 for an 8 p.m. concert. Reserved seat tickets are $16 for the general public, and go on sale 10 a.m. Monday at Tech's Squires Ticket Office.

Latifah returns to Virginia Tech on March 25 to speak in Squires Student Center's Colonial Hall. Her topic: "Rap in the Black Community." Tickets are $6 for the general public and are on sale now at the Squires Ticket Office.

The ticket office, which closed for the campus' spring break, reopens Monday at 10 a.m. Its hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday. To order tickets by phone, call 231-5615 or (800) 843-8332.
