ONLY EXCELLENT CARE AT VAMC

I AM AN outpatient/incentive-therapy worker at the Veterans Affairs Center in Salem. After reading the articles in your newspaper, I had to write to let you know of the experiences I have had with care at the Medical Center.

I have been going to the VAMC in Salem since 1956 for treatment of various medical problems. I have had nothing but excellent care and hate to hear the negative publicity.

I feel that with the opening of the new building, a certain amount of confusion can be expected. However, when it is opened, this will greatly improve care for all veterans.

I commend Mr. Graninger, social-work service and all the staff of the medical center. I have nothing but compliments for all the staff at this fine facility. MARVIN CORBITT ROANOKE
