OBIT JONES, C.

Charles Shannon Jones, age 66, of Roanoke died Wednesday in a Salem hospital. He had been employed by the Kroger Company for 40 years and was Secretary-Treasurer of the local U.F.C.W. for two years. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca C. Jones; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles S. and Doris A. Jones, Jr. of Roanoke; William Randall and Demona Jones of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Aleta J. and Woodrow Hodges of Erwin, N.C.; Donna J. and Jerome Rose of Vinton; five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 13, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. in Sherwood Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Chapman officiating. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
