Claude Herbert Light, age 79, of Roanoke County, died Tuesday, March 10, 1992. He was a retired diesel mechanic from Rutrough-Mack. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Morris Light; three daughters, Theresa Firebaugh, Pamela Henderlite, Patsy Garrett, all of Roanoke; two sons, Stephen A. Light, David W. Light, both of Roanoke; two brothers, Ezra Light, Horace Light, both of Roanoke; four sisters, Hattie L. Campbell, Christine Gross, both of Roanoke; Irene L. Wright, Rachel L. Mills, both of Salem; 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Cotton Hill Road), Friday, March 13, at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Philip J. Willmott and President James D. Bullion officiating. Interment in the Ferguson Family Cemetery, Roanoke County. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
