TRANSPORTATION BOARD SCHEDULES HEARINGS

The state Transportation Board will hold hearings on road funding for 1992-93 on March 24 at the Salem District office and March 27 at Virginia Highlands Community College in Abingdon.

Both will start at 10 a.m., and will cover the Salem and Bristol districts of Western Virginia. They are among nine hearings scheduled across the state. - Southwest bureau
